Swedish is descended from Old Norse.Compared to its progenitor, Swedish grammar is much less characterized by inflection.Modern Swedish has two genders and no longer conjugates verbs based on person or number. The exercises are based on sentences in essays written by university students of English in Sweden. The key provides correct versions of all sentences, and explains the nature of most of the errors.
